Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese origin and grew up in Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family with strong roots in the South of America. Her parents separated when she was just two years old and she was a child of her father and stepfather who was a member of the United States Air Force. They left Oklahoma, and lived in various locations, however she spent most of her life in Tokyo. At this point, she appeared in a number of local theater productions. Later, she became a model for the Japanese fashion business. As the family retreated to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. After a few minor roles on TV programs with Hawaii lenses (such such as Beyond the Break), she was able to land the role of Mily Acuna and landed the job of Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan. She hosts podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" along with "The Daily Nut". Her love of surfing has been evident since the 2006 TV series Beyond the Break. Additionally, she holds Black Belt in Taekwondo. When she was just two years old, her mom got married once more however this time to the same US Air Force member. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather worked. University of Oklahoma. Majored and minored Japanese and Dramatic Arts.
