Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen was born in Saint. Louis, Missouri. She is a popular American model/singer/actress, singer/songwriter and model. She is most well-known for her role in the CW television series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and also as the lead singer in The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in films and television shows such as How to Be a Single and the show Going the Mile. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. At the Center of Creative Arts is where she studied dance. The actress began her professional acting career aged three for a commercial that was aired in 1997 for Shake and Bake. Momsen's acting career came to a slow halt for three years before she was offered her first lead role on the WB program Misconceptions. Momsen also starred in Saving Shiloh which was a film from 2006. She was also among the top three contenders for Hannah Montana's main role. However, Miley Cyrus was awarded the role.
