Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has won numerous awards for her works. She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of animals. The actress has won praise by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. At first she was employed as an photographer's assistant. Later on she shifted her focus to modeling and directing. In her first two films her name was acknowledged and was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three years, she was named the number one female box-office starter in the whole world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw got married to three different people.
